McALLEN - Antonio Sandoval , 65, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital of McAllen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Francisca (Sandoval) Alcantar.
He is survived by his wife; Maricela (Hernandez) Alcantar; his children, Isabel Reyes, Antonio Alcantar, III, Marisol Alcantar, Antonio Alcantar, III, Yesenia Martinez, Marissa Alcantar and Daisy Alcantar; four sisters, Connie Ledesma, Guadalupe Ruiz, Raquel Hernandez and Rosa Maria Rodriguez; two brothers, Gabriel Alcantar and Jose Alcantar; 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 with a service being held at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Chapel service was held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Entombment followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
