Mrs. Jos. Beauchamp Dies in Herkimer; Burial Here Monday
Mrs. Joseph Beauchamp, 83, a resident of Tupper Lake for many years, died Friday morning at her home in Herkimer, N.Y., after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Francis de Sales Church in Herkimer. Interment was in the family plot at St. Alphonsus Cemetery here.
Born Philomene Desjardins, she came here from Canada with her husband, Joseph Beauchamp, and family in 1889 and resided in Tupper Lake until his death 27 years ago. She had since made her home
in Herkimer.
Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Joseph Facteau of Stratford, N.Y., and Miss Alma Beauchamp and Mrs. Joseph Longo, both of Herkimer; two sons, Adelorde Beauchamp of Herkimer, and Ovila Beauchamp, Tupper Lake.
