Clida Mae Keith age 95 of Gosport passed away Wednesday, 10-13-2010 at Bloomington hospital.
Born 12-19-1914 in Delta, KY she was the daughter of Cornelius and Vanga (Tucker) New.
Clida was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, watching IU basketball and Nascar. Above all she enjoyed being with her familly. She loved, laughed, & lived life to the fullest for 95 years. She will be sadly missed by her family.
Suvirors include five sons Boyd Of Mooresville, Charles of Florida, Gene of Bloomington, Dan "Randy" of Bloomfield, & James Killus of Stinesville. Four daughters Audrey Collier of Gosport, Patricia Keith Powell of Bloomfield, Donna Dunbar Bell of Ellettsville and Chary Baker John of Smithville. 24 grandchildren & several great great grandchildren. Four sisters Naomi, Geneva, Charlette & Mary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Owen Keith two sons Horane Keith 1993, & James Keith 1977 and three brothers Arlie Everett New 1917 - 1997 of Martinsville (Morgan Co.) Robert "Bob" New 1929-1989 and Albert O.New 1922-1987.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Sat., 10-16-2010 at the Ellettsville First Baptist Church with Mark Villeanova officiating. Visitation will be at 4:00 to 8:00pm Friday at the Funeral Chapel of Powell & Deckard 3000 Third Street, Bloomington, IN and 9:00 to 10:00 am Sat at Church.
Burial will be at Chambersville Cemetery.
