Died 7:13 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 1987, at his residence in Starhill. He was 56, and a lifelong resident of Starhill. He was president of Audubon Companies Realty and a U.S. Army veteran of Korean conflict.

Visiting at St. Francisville Methodist Church, St. Francisville, 11 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial in Starhill Cemetery with Masonic Graveside services.

Survived by wife, Patsy Welch Dreher; two sons, Andy and Kevin Dreher, both of Starhill; two daughters, Melanie Branton, St. Francisville, and Rae Lynn Dreher, Starhill; a brother, Ray Dreher, Starhill; 11 grandchildren; and father, Murphy Dreher Sr., Starhill.

Preceded in death by mother, Lorena Daniel Dreher.

Pallbearers will be Bill Carrigan, Tom Viar, Billy and Clifford Wilcox, Dick Prescott, Dr. Fred Thomas, Ed Shields and Bruce Baine.

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Robinson, John Rarick, Dr. Alfred Gould, Dr. Larry Schneider, Ed Reed, Marshall Cook, Danny Copeland and Joe Davis.

He was a member of St.Francisville Methodist Church, Feliciana Lodge No. 31, F&AM, St. Francisville and Audubon Lions Club.

Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Masonic Children's Home, Alexandria, Julius Freyhand Foundation, St. Francisville, St. Francisville United Methodist Church.
