Some years ago the Frank Replogle family lived in Mulberry while Mr. Replogle was teaching in the Jefferson high school in Lafayette. At that time the children were frequently spoken of because of the excellent record they made in school. After the family left here Mr. Replogle bought a small farm in the vicinity of Edna Mills for a permanent home. This year he is teaching in a suburban school near Cincinnati, and has a part of the family with him. Their postoffice address is Route 3, Hamilton, Ohio. Presumably the family will come back to the farm at the close of school.
The unfortunate boy graduated from the Rossville high school at the age of 16, and was awarded the Magna cum Lauda medal, an honor bestowed upon the student making the best grade throughout the four-year high school course. For the past year he had been employed in the Gingrich cheese factory, near Heath, and made his home on the Gingrich premises. His companions were also employes of the cheese factory.
The youth was a member of the Brethren church of Rossville. The funeral service was conducted at the Rossville church Monday, at 2 o'clock, by Rev. Replogle, assisted by Rev. Hylton.
