Mr. Hall grew up in Chicago's Austin neighborhood and was a 1961 graduate of Austin High School. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was a long time resident of Oak Park, serving on the OPRF Pony Baseball league board of directors, and has resided in West Chicago for the past 23 years. Mr. Hall was an avid bowler, participating in the Inter-Faith church league on Thursday evenings for the last 40 years. He was also a car enthusiast and active member of the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts club. After a long career in industrial engineering, including time as the President of the local chapter of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, Mr. Hall recently retired and continued with his passion for running and biking the Illinois Prairie Path and photography. Additionally, he continued to serve on the board of the First United Methodist Church of West Chicago and was a member of the choir. He is missed dearly by his loving wife of 46 years, Susan; his sister Elizabeth (Robert) Terry; his daughter Julie (Jim) Lamberty; son Mark (Amy) 5 grandchildren Jackson, Jessica, Carter, Jenna, and Cameron; brother-in-law, Glenn Leach (Bernie),and sister-in-law, Barbara Bailey; and many nieces and nephews.
