Mrs. Emma Louise Conover died last evening about 6:15 o'clock at her home on Leonard avenue, Oceanport, at the age of 76 years. She was seriously ill only one day. She was the widow of George Conover, who died in 1926.

Mrs. Conover was born at Summit Station, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Oceanport 31 years.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons, Mrs. John L. Herbert, Little Silver; Miss Esther Conover, Oceanport; Mrs. Robert Heff, Oakhurst; Carl F. Conover, Oceanport, and William I. Conover, Clifton; and a sister, Mrs. Mary C. Marquardt of Fort Carbon, Pennsylvania. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Conover was a member of the Lutheran church at Fort Carbon.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Woolley funeral home, Long Branch. Rev. Elijah F. Reed, pastor of the Little Silver Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in Glenwood cemetery.
