Mrs. Barbara Youra, 91, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Family
Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and a 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo
Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Youra, nee Barbara Frye, was born March 30, 1879, in Brown County, daughter
of the late Fred and Magdeline Kazda Frye. She was married to Henry Youra
April 17, 1900, at Francis Creek. They farmed in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc
County. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1928.
Survivors include a son, Edwin, of Denmark, two daughters, Mrs. Casimir (Emma)
Kattner of Manitowoc and Mrs. Louis (Lillian) Stefl of Rt. 4, Manitowoc; a sister,
Mrs. Francis Claus, of Green Bay; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where a memorial service
will be at 8 p.m.
