JOHN J. TADYCH (d. 1943)

John J. Tadych, 74, of 1215 North Water street, who has three sons in the armed
services, died last night at the Holy Family hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, and at nine o'clock from the Sacred Heart church, the Rev.
Louis Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Tadych was born in this city in 1868 and in 1894 married Miss Elizabeth
Jagodinsky of this city. He was employed for many years as a molder in Manitowoc
plants. Mrs. Tadych died several years ago.
Survivors are seven sons, John, of this city, Carl, Alex and Robert, of Milwaukee,
Frank J., stationed at Fort Lawton, Wash., Henry, at Camp Philip, Kan., Edward P.,
at Camp Sutton, N.C.; brother, Henry, of this city; sister, Mrs. Walter Shipper,
of Milwaukee; and four grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Wednesday at 7 p.m. until the hour
of the services.
