ALEXANDER J. TADYCH (d. 1946)

Alexander J. Tadych, 48, former Manitowoc resident, died in Milwaukee Wednesday
after a lingering illness.
After his graduation from the local high school, he entered the employ of the
Western Weighing and Inspection bureau in the North Western Railroad office here.
In 1918 he was transferred to the Pere Marquette office in Milwaukee where he
became chief clerk. He continured at his job until last May when illness forced
him to retire. He was born in Manitowoc on May 3, 1898.
The funeral has been set for 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home with a requiem mass to be celebrated at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Catholic
church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body will arrive here from Milwaukee Saturday morning and can be reviewed at
the funeral parlors after 7 o'clock Saturday evening.
He leaves six brothers, John A., Henry, Frank and Edward Tadych, all of this city
and Carl and Robert, who live in Milwaukee.
The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Sunday evening.
