MARIE SUCHOMEL
DIED:
Mrs. Joseph Suchomel, aged 41 years and 5 months, died last Thursday at her home,
726 North 12th street, after an illness of ten months.
Mrs. Suchomel was born in Gibson, Manitowoc county. She was the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Anton Kriwanek and was a woman who was highly esteemed and had a large
circle of friends. Besides her husband and two children, a boy and a girl, Mrs.
Suchomel is survived by her father and mother, and four brothers and three sisters
as follows:
Frank and Charles Kriwanek of Denmark; Edward and Louis on the old home in Gibson;
Mrs. Frank Wattenbach of Milwaukee; Mrs. John Jorgenson of Denmark, and Miss Carrie
Kriwanek, at home.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the home and was conducted by the
Bohemian society Z.C.B.J. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
Those from outside in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wattenbach
of Milwaukee; Mrs. Kroupa and daughter of Racine; Mrs. Rahn and daughter and Mrs.
Krotchville of Green Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Jos Skwor of Mishicot.

Death at an early hour last Thursday morning relieved the suffering of Mrs. Joseph
Suchomel at her home at Manitowoc. The Suchomels removed from this vicinity to
Manitowoc several years ago where they resided ever since.
Mrs. Suchomel was about 41 years of age and was ill for ten months. She leaves a
husband and two children, a son and a daughter to mourn the loss of a wife and mother.
Besides these her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kriwanek and a number of brothers and
sisters also survive.
Mrs. Suchomel was born and reared on a farm in this vicinity and again later with
her husband made their home here on a farm for several years. She had many friends
here who regret to hear of her death.
We extend our sympathy to the family in their sad bereavement.
