KENLEY STONE

Kenley (Gerry) W. Stone, 93, of 848 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday night. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Gervase Zanotti officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Stone was born August 6, 1869 in Elkton County, Virginia, son of the late William and Martha Stone Stone. In 1891 he married Clara Hillebrand at Clarksdale, Missouri. His wife preceded him in death in 1920. He farmed at St. Joseph, Missouri until 1919 when he became a carpenter-contractor at Chicago. He was a charter member of the local Sea Gulls and was a 25 Year Club(sic) at Mirro Aluminum Company where he was employed until his retirement.
Survivors include a son, William Gerald of North Hollywood, Calif., a daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Ferguson of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Molly Coffey of Clarksdale, Missouri; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
