The deceased, a cooper by profession, had suffered a stroke about two years ago, but was unable to recover from the recent stroke. He was a veteran of the Civil War and is survived by a son and 2 daughters. The late Mrs. John Schuette was his sister; his wife preceded him in death about 6 years ago."
