From Der Nord Westen, 24 Aug. 1905:
Following a 3-mo. illness Mrs. Robert Stauss died here Tues.
from dropsy. The deceased, who was 62, formerly lived in
Forestville, Door County, but the family moved here about
3 yrs. ago. Mrs. Stauss leaves her husband, 2 sons and 2
daughters. The funeral will be held this afternoon from
the German Methodist Church.

Marie A. Stauss(sic), 94, of 3401 S. Lafayette St., Julia Temple Center, Denver, Colo., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Lakewood, Colo.
Funeral services were at All Souls Catholic Church at Denver. The Rev. Frank Kappes officiated. Commital services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 by the Rev. William Zimmer at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Stauss was born Feb. 15, 1885, at Manchester, England, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Burns Judge. She was married to Maximilian A. Stauss in 1915 at Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Stauss was a member of All Souls Catholic Church, Denver, and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Robert Boehme of Phoenix, Ariz.
Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of local arrangements.
