GEORGE J. REITMEYER
George J. Reitmeyer, 70, of 1010 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died
Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following
a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Reitmeyer was born Nov. 2, 1902, at Ingalls, Mich., son of
the late Alex and Theresa Kreuz Reitmeyer. He was graduated from
Stephenson High School, Stephenson, Mich. Mr. Reitmeyer retired
in 1967 after being employed for 22 years at Cool City Cleaners,
Two Rivers. He married Marguerite Anderson Sept. 3, 1927, at
Kenosha. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters; three brothers, a sister
and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Reitmeyer was preceded in death by a son,
two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, State Street
entrance, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, where a vigil service will be
held at 7:45 p.m.
