LOUISA RAETHER
Mrs. Louis Raether, 84, of 923 North 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Friday at the
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday at the First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
L.H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born Louisa Eberhardt Feb. 20, 1868?, in Newton, her death occurring
on her 84th birthday. In 1894 she was married to Mr. Raether and they located
on a farm in Manitowoc Rapids. They moved to Manitowoc in 1919 and her husband
died four years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Adolph Eichman of Manitowoc; son, Edwin of Route
1, Manitowoc; brother, John of Manitowoc Rapids; two sisters, Anna and Augusta
Eberhardt of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Sunday noon.
The casket will be moved t the church at 10 a.m. Monday.
