WILLIAM RADKE (d. 1926)

WM. RADKE IS VICTIM OF A STROKE, AGE 71
William Radke, 1311 Green St., died Saturday evening following a stroke of
paralysis. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with services at the
home at ??30 and at St. John's Evangelical church at 2 o'clock. Burial will
be at Evergreen.
Born aboard ship while his parents were enroute from Germany to this country
June 25, 1855, Mr. Radke made his home at Milwaukee until thirty-two years
ago when he came to this city to live. He was married forty-four years ago at
Milwaukee to Emma Baer who with five children survive him. The children are
Mrs. Emil Schaus and Mrs. Karl Karstens, of this city and Miss Hilde Radke of
Milwaukee, Ervin and Arthur Radke. One brother, Henry Radke, of Milwaukee and
four grandchildren also survive him. Mr. Radke was a member of the Beavers and
of the G. C. G.???
