EMMA RADKE
Mrs. Emma Radke, 74, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Carl Carstens, of 1511 Hamilton street. Last January she fell and broke her hip
and has been in failing health since that time.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran church with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Radke, nee Emma Baer, was born in 1864 in Milwaukee and was married 55 years
ago to William Radke at that place. They came to this city over 40 years ago. Mr.
Radke died in 1926.
Survivors are two sons, Arthur, city, and Erwin, Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs.
Emil Schaus, Mrs. Carl Carstens, city; Hilda, Milwaukee; brother, Gustave,
Milwaukee; and four grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Vogelsang funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight and
will be moved to the church Saturday at 10 a.m.
