Companions for fifty years in life, August Radke and wife were not
long separated by death. Mrs. Radke's demise three weeks ago being
followed by that of her husband early today. Mr. Radke died at the
home of his son on Greenstreet (sic). He was 80 years of age. The
funeral will be held Wednesday from the Lutheran church.

August Radke, a pioneer resident of the city, breathed his last Monday
morning at an early hour, at the family home. He was eighty-two years
of age. His health had declined rapidly since the death of his wife, who
passed away about four weeks ago. Two sons survive. The funeral was
held this afternoon from the Lutheran church.

morning at 82.
Ever since Radke's wife died a few weeks ago, he sought death for
himself. Now his wish has been fulfilled. He is survived by 2 sons.
The funeral will be held this afternoon from the Lutheran Church.
