ROBERT LUETH
Robert Lueth, 84, of 634 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, former transportation rate
clerk and solicitor, died Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc,
after a short illness.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
with the Rev. W. W. Gieschen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Lueth was born at Manitowoc Feb. 21, 1874, son of the late Edward and Louise
Haase Lueth. He married Clara Jehn at Wausau June 15, 1905, and shortly, there-
after the couple moved to Manitowoc. He was rate clerk for years the North
Western Road, Westport Transit Co. and Clark Trnsit Co., also serving the latter
company as solicitor. His wife died in 1956.
Surviving are a brother, Walter, of Abbottsford, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Laura
Danz, of Janesville.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street entrance,
Manitowoc, until 10 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be moved to the church
where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
