Rayborn Jewel Beavers, 74, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Caldwell Medical Center after a long illness. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and a retired deck hand for River Boat Crounce.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Samuel Beavers, four sons, Steven Beavers, Columbus, OH, Jay Beavers, South Salem, OH, Chris Beavers, Fredonia, KY and Tyler Beavers, Fredonia, KY, one daughter, Tammy Lester, Columbus, OH, one brother, Wayne Beavers, Princeton, KY and one sister, Mary Bell Boone, Fredonia, KY, six grandchildren and one great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ethel Irene Green Beavers, six brothers, Marvin Douglas Beavers, James "Buddy" Beavers, James "Jug" Orvil Beavers, James Hershel Beavers, Marshall Delmar Beavers, Wallace Eugene Beavers and one sister, Ethel Irene "Sitter" Longabaugh.
Visitation will be from 11:30 to 2:30 PM Saturday at Morgan's Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:30 PM at Morgan's with Rev. Danny Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosebud Cemetery in Crittenden County, KY.
