Augustine "Augie" V. Wolosechek, age 89, of Willow Springs, formerly of LaGrange, dear friend of Juan Villeda and Elba Barrios.
Augustine served in the US Army 508th Parachute Infantry during WWII and participated in the Invasion of Normandy.
He later worked for Edgewood Valley Country Club for over 40 years.
Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers, 9:30 a.m., Saturday from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park.
