Duke's greatest passion was love of his family and friends; he was a giver and always willing to help anyone in need. He went to the Lord suddenly from a heart attack after 15 years of ill health. His wife, Marion, predeceased him in 1997.
He is survived by his children Cathy, Helena, and Gary, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
