FREEMAN, KEVIN RICHARD, 53, Aviation Consultant and former Cessna Citation Customer Service Engineer, passed away on Friday, August 3 in Wichita. He was born in Des Moines, IA on April 1, 1959 to Richard and Ellen (Brechtel) Freeman.
Kevin graduated from Prairie Ridge High School in Cedar Rapids, IA and had degrees from Hawkeye Institiute of Technology, Waterloo, IA and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He married Peggy Kerschen on May 7, 1988 at St. Francis of Assisi in Wichita.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Ellen; wife Peggy; son Jordan; daughters Tory and Erica; siblings Sharon (Orlin) Schwab, Brian Freeman, Janine (Bob) Bickerman and Patrice (Greg) Alexander; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his sister Lynn Freeman.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 861 N. Socora, Wichita with Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday, August 8 at 10 a.m. also at St. Francis of Assisi. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Rd., Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Freeman Children Education Fund c/o Cessna Employee's Credit Union.
