NANNIE K. "KATE" (MORGAN) BIRELEY, 89, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Carbon Hill, Ala., she worked as a book-eeper with Bazley's / Tapp's Market for 35 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of The First Assembly of God Church. Surviving is her son, Larry B (Mona) Bireley of Fort Wayne; daughters, Linda (Dennis) Haupt of Fort Wayne and Rebecca A (Marv) Mihm of New Haven; daughter in law, Jean Bireley of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren, 19 great -grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle B. Bireley; son, William S. Bireley; and brother, William Morgan. Funeral Service is 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at The First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
