She was born on March 16, 1921 in Fulton, MO to the late Grove Ross & Elizabeth Jenny (McClennan) Selby. She married F. Martin Bartley on January 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2003. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Bartley graduated from Fulton High School in 1938. She was the secretary for McIntire School and a receptionist for Dr. George Groce before working in the registrar's office of William Woods University from where she retired. She was an active member of the Court Street United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, 55+ Club, the Martha Circle, the Stroke Survivors Club, leader of the Lamar 4-H Club, voting poll worker, Democratic Committee Chairwoman, and a founding member of the Bartley Lane Club.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, MO, with Reverend Hohn Hoos officiating.
Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Court Street United Motheodist Church, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd., Fulton, MO 65251.
