Mr. Richard Brent Beasley, 33, network development executive with Private Health Care Systems, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at his residence on Abbott Glen Court in Nashville.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with William H. Wendt and Wendell Briggs officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Comprehensive Care Center and Alive Hospice of Nashville.

Mr. Beasley was a 1987 graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University. He founded the Giles County Humane Society as a teenager.

Survivors include his parents, William H. and Brenda Ring Wendt of Lynnville; life partner, Laramey Lawson of Nashville; brother, Ben Wendt of Orlando, Florida; sister, Katie Wendt of Lynnville; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved pets, Zoe and Phoebe.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Kathleen Lovett Ring, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Ken Holt, Brandon Ring, Curtis Briggs, J.T. Lunn, Christopher Holt and Rick Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be E.D. Ring, Beverly Byram, C.N.P., Eun Young Son, Jonathan Pinkerton, and Staff of Alive Hospice of Nashville.
