Frances Parmer, age 70 of Roopville, Georgia, died Monday, December 4, 2006. She was born in Carroll County Georgia, June 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Ezra Carl and Effie Lou Akins Bivins. She was a member of Sandy Flat Baptist Church and was a retired employee of LaMar Manufacturing Co.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. Grady Myrl Bivins, J. B. Bivins and Ezra Carl Bivins, Jr; three sisters, Jerlene Bivins, Lurlene Bivins and Betty Bivins. Survivors include her husband, Rev. L.G. Parmer of Roopville; son, Jerry (Renee) Parmer of Carrollton, GA; two daughters, Pamela (Anthony) Malone of Roopville, and Rhonda (Tim) Rose of Lilburn, GA; seven grandchildren, Brandon and Kayla Malone, Holly, Robert and Kelly Parmer, Tyler and Madison Rose; three sisters, Tokay Shumake of Rome, GA, Virginia Dover of Rockmart, GA, and Loutrell Prince of Carrollton, GA.

Funeral services held Wednesday, December 6 from the Rainwater Funeral Home Chapel, Bowdon, GA, with Rev. Jimmy Palmer and Rev. Ridley Parmer officiating. Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews. Interment in Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Charles Chambers in charge.
