Stanley-Bobby Albert Matthews,54,135 Summerow Road,died Tuesday in Gaston Memorial Hospital.
The son of the late Charlie and Rosetta Moore Matthews,he was employed by Sodyeco Inc. and a member of the Stanley Masonic Lodge and Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivers include his wife,Macie McDaniel Matthews,stepson,Donald Geindstaff of Gastonia,stepdaughter,Rita Gibson of Stanley;brother Coyt Matthews of Gastonia;and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev.Tommy Fuquay at 4 p.m.Thursday at Stanley Pentecoastal Holiness Church.Burial will be in Hillcrest Gardens.
Pallbearers are Donald Matthews,Steve Matthews,Greg Matthews,Steve Grindstaff,Dean McCoig,Danny Williams.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Carothers Funeral Home,Stanley.
