A memorial Mass for Elizabeth Farley, 78, a Buffalo native who spent the last 20 years living in Scotland, Alaska and Florida, will be offered at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 4220 Seneca St. at Mill Road, West Seneca.

The former Elizabeth "Betty" Evoy died May 9, 1997, in Brandon Columbia Hospital in Brandon, Fla

Before leaving Buffalo 20 years ago, she was an active member of the Church of the Nativity Women's Guild and had served as president of the Holy Family School's Mothers Club.

She grew up in South Buffalo and attended South Park High School.

Her husband, James, died in 1970.

She lived with her daughter, Kathie Baryza, and her family for the last 20 years in Scotland and Alaska before they settled in Brandon.

Survivors include two other daughters, Anne Dempsey of West Seneca and Elizabeth Rios of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, James of Tampa, Fla., and Michael of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Ann Miller of Kissimmee, Fla., and Dorothy Nash; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

ELIZABETH RITA FARLEY, 78, of Brandon died Friday at Columbia Brandon Regional Medical Center. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she moved to Brandon in 1988 from Dumfries, Va. She was a nurse's aide and member of Church of Nativity Women's Guild. She is survived by two sons, James of Tampa and Michael of Jacksonville; three daughters, Anne Dempsey of West Seneca, N.Y., Elizabeth Rios of San Antonio, Texas, and Kathie Baryza of Brandon; two sisters, Dorothy Nash of Buffalo, and Anne Miller of Orlando; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
