Addition by Janice Hensley
Malissa is definitely buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville. I spoke with the cemetery supervisor who has verified this information. I saw her plot in the mid-80s which was near her daughter America (Amelia Hunter). The cemetery has gone from paper files (which they had in the 80s) to digital which may be why she "was not found there". The files had to be researched but I was told she was definitely there. Many of her family, including her husband Nathan are also there. Thank you.
