Leland Leon Gager, 63, of Gautier, MS passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 in Pascagoula.

Mr. Gager was born May 8, 1949 in Moss Point, MS and was a life long resident of the area. He was a 1967 graduate of OLV and retired from AT&T/Bellsouth after 40 years of service. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Leland was active with Boy Scouts of America Troop #530 and involved with Gautier Dixie Youth as an umpire and coach. He enjoyed fishing, antique cars and traveling. He will be missed greatly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence "Buddie" Joseph Gager Sr and Vermiel "Shep" Webb Gager and a brother, Lawrence "Sonny" Joseph Gager Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Jean Webber Gager of Gautier, MS; a son, Lawrence "Buddy" Joseph Gager and wife Sabrina Pierce of Gautier, MS; a daughter, Bridgett Leigh Gager Davis and husband Robert of Vancleave, MS; a brother, Forest Griffin Gager (Sandra) of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Linda Gager of St Augustine, FL; 6 grandchildren, Billy Davis, Emily Gager, Evan Gager, and Kyle Gager, Breanna Brown, and Maria Kaye Pierce; one great-grandchild, Kirra Bailey Brown and many loved nieces and nephews.
