HAMILTON – Allie Frances Basham Frazier, 90, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was born Sept. 29, 1921, to Dr. James Woodie Basham and Mable Crosby Basham in Monroe County. She was a lifelong resident of Hamilton. She retired as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, and also worked at Hamilton Post Office and Cadence Bank. She was a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Lee Murff officiating. Burial will be in Ross Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward "Chuck" Frazier of Hamilton; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Stacy Gilliland, Adeline Black, Mary Sue Murff, Manie Vardaman and Elizabeth Frazier; and two brothers, J. W. Basham Jr. and John Basham.

Pallbearers will be Bill Cockerham, Ricky Frazier, Woodie Frazier, Jerry Pittman, Charles Stanford, Tommy Clegg, John Bradford Basham, Mike Frazier and Bobby Frazier.
