CLEVELAND, Mrs. Dorothy Ruth, departed this life for the next on Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was the last of 13 children born to the late James and Susanna Critch of Ipswitch, Massachusetts. Born on August 6, 1922, she graduated from Ipswitch High School, and later from the Boston School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. She and her young family settled in Prince George County in the early 1950s when her husband became stationed at Fort Lee. They attended Rosewood Presbyterian Church and later Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. Dorothy continued to reside in Prince George until her death. She is survived by two sons, Robert H. Cleveland III and his wife, Pat, and Richard J. Cleveland and his wife, Karen; two grandchildren, Amy M. Cleveland and Forrest B. Cleveland and his wife, Cathy; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden J. Cleveland and Madison J. Cleveland. A graveside service only will be held at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Flowers may be sent to J.T.
