Rosary at 8 For Veillon
A rosary for Wilson Veillon, Sr., 52, will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock in the Grammier-Oberle Funeral home chapel.
The rosary will be recited by members of the Holy Name and Altar societies of the church.
Mr. Veillon died Monday at Park Place hospital at 9:15 p.m. following an illness of one week.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic church in Port Acres with the Rev. Martin Bordages, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A native of Ville Platte, La., Mr. Veillon had lived in Port Arthur 24 years. At the time of his death, Mr. Veillon was employee at the Texaco refinery as engine foreman in the railroad department. He had worked at Texaco 22 years and was a member of the Little Flower church, the Holy Name Society of the church and served as an usher in the church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Armance Veillon; and two sons, Wilson Veillon Jr., and Lester E Veillon all of Port Acres; two brothers, T. Veillon of Ville Platte and Ardus Veillon of Morgan City, La.; and five sisters, Mrs. Larry Jimminez and Mrs. J. J. Wilson, both of Buna, Mrs. John Guidry of Port Arthur, Mrs. Otis Soileaux of Ville Platte and Mrs. Celon Fussilier of Eunice, La.
Pallbearers will be Louis B., Jean M., Simon J., Joseph L., Anthony and Daniel Lanclos.
