NOTE: Squire's middle name "Stephen" found on his son Charles Eddy LAMMON's delayed birth record. This is the only reference to the middle name Stephen I have come across.
Squire married (1) Louisa LERCH on 6 December 1865 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. Louisa was born on 23 June 1819. She died on 16 Mar 1867 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Lovell Township, Jones Co., Iowa.

"LAMMON, Charley (no date) Lot #227, Grave #8 Squire's first wife seems to have been 25 years older than him. She died 15 mos. after they were married. No trace of her or her family in Iowa in the 1860 census. Could Charley have been their child and she died during childbirth or soon after?
On the burial plot records, it states that all the plots were in the name of William Crane.
Squire married (2) Elizabeth (Lizzie) MANLEY daughter of Solomon MANLEY and Catharine FARAGHER on 29 December 1867 in Monticello, Jones Co., Iowa. Elizabeth was born on 7 May 1851 in Foxdale, Kirk Patrick, Isle of Man, Great Britain. She died on 25 November 1890 in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota.
She was buried in Dakota Cemerery, Parkston, Hutchinson Co., South Dakota.

"27 Nov.1890 - Dr. and Mrs. O.B. Rundle left last Tuesday evening for Mabel, Dakota, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Rundles' only sister, Mrs. Squire Lammon. A telegram was received stating that she had died that morning after a short illness. Mr. and Mrs. Lammon were formerly residents of this township where a large number of friends mourn the death of Mrs. Lammon and sympathize with the husband. "
