Mrs. Rae M. Rich
Charleston - Mrs. Rae Montgomery Rich, 85, widow of Dr. Morris Rich, died Saturday.
Born in Fairfield County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Leroy and Bertha Weir Montgomery. She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of the Dogwood Garden Club and First Presbyterian Church of Orangeburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alexander W. ( Reka ) DeMasi of Charleston; sisters, Mrs Janie M. McDowell of Travelers Rest, Mrs. Berta M. Dunbar of Spartanburg and Mrs. Stuart M. Grant and Miss Nell Montgomery, both of Chester, and a brother, S.L. Montgomery of Winnsboro.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery of Orangeburg. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:0 p.m. today at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg. Memorials may be made to the Elbert F. Cicenia Foundation of the Coastal Center in Ladson.
