Beulah K. Rebuck
SUNBURY--Beulah K. Rebuck, 87, of the Golden Living Center Mansion, formerly of Sunbury, Klingerstown, Trevorton and Rebuck, died Sept. 10 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Sept. 23, 1919 in Dornsife, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Harvey Smith and Minnie Edna Rothermel Smith.
She was a graduate of the Line Mountain High School, having received her diploma in the 1970s.
She was a seamstress at the former Nite Kraft and a sales person at the former Broscious Lumber Co., both in Sunbury.
She was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church in Rebuck, a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Trevorton where she was a member of the choir, served as church secretary, Sunday school teacher and substitute organist, president of the Citizens Committee for the residents at the Golden Living Center Mansion and served as a former den mother.
She was the widow of Charles "Kcuber" Rebuck. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Rebuck, two sons, Norman Rebuck and Charles Rebuck; four sisters, Helen Hoffner, Hilda Huntzinger, Hazel Kembel and Mabel Boyer, four brothers, Homer, Howard, Holden and Harry Smith, two infant children and a great-grandson.
Surviving are three daughters, Daphne Keim of Ephrata, Laure Johnson of Sunbury and Amy Masser of Klingerstown RR; two sons, Tony Rebuck and Pierce Rebuck, both of Sunbury; a sister, Henrietta Erdman of Muncy; 15 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 14 at Himmel's Church. Burial was at Himmel's Cemetery in Rebuck.
