Obituary: " Milan H. Pfund, 71, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 8, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.Milan was born to the late Harry and Stella Pfund and was raised in Tedrow, OH. He is survived by his wife: Cheryl (Cox) Pfund; children: Alan Pfund, Jeff (Cheryl) Pfund, Lori (Steve) Siclair, Dan (Melanie) Grohowski, Joel (Tammy) Grohowski, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.A faithful servant, Milan served his church, the Swanton Seventh Day Adventist, as deacon; served his country in the United States Air Force; and served his employer, Young Spring and Wire, for 38 years until his retirement in June, 2001.Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM in the Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second St, Grand Rapids, OH 43522. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
