Wallace E. Palazzo, 84, of Holiday Court, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Beverly R. (Breard) Palazzo. Born in East Greenwich, he was a son of the late Clement E. and Mary (Catanio) Palazzo. Mr. Palazzo was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was the owner of Palazzo Brothers Salvage in North Kingstown for over 30 years. He later co-owned and operated the former West View Inn in West Greenwich before retiring. He was a member of the North Kingstown F.O.P, American Legion Post 12 and the Wickford Club. An automobile enthusiast, Mr. Palazzo loved Chevy's and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed coin collecting. Besides his wife, he leaves 3 children, Lisa Ehrbar, Joseph Ciringione and Mary Wiechers; 3 step-children, Pamela Beam, Gregory and Keith Northup; 2 brothers, Edward and Fenwick Palazzo; and 9 grandchildren. He was the father of the late Caro Gardiner and Rita Carter; brother of the late Clement and Michael Palazzo; and the former husband of the late Nancy Palazzo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11am in the Church of the Ascension, 370 Main Street, Wakefield. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Monday 5-8pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown.
