Mrs. Betty Joyce Avery, age 74, of Nauvoo, Al. passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will Follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 pm. on Monday, in Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor.
Avery was preceded in death by her father, Melton Ashbury Stanley; mother, Salley Lee Roben Stanley; daughter, Betty Jeanette Avery Waller; son, Jeffery Wayne Avery; one sister and five brothers.
Betty is survived by her sister, Joyce A. Perkins; son, Robert R Avery; six-grandchildren and eight-great-grandchildren.
