John Meiners was an attorney from Delano (where he served on the city council) and then Eden Prairie, Minnesota. John was the son of Maeanna Elizabeth (Schaust) Meiners and Reverend (John) Gerhard Meiners. He was an avid outdoorsman, and a much loved by his friends/hunting buddies. John died unexpectedly at the age of 52, and is buried next to his uncle, George Schaust. He was preceded in death by his mother, and survived by his sister and father.
