LILA S. BROWN SERVICES TODAY

Sarah Delilah "Lila" Sheats-Smith Brown, 70, passed away here Monday, Dec. 10, and services will be held this morning at 10:30 a.m.
Born February 15, 1903, in Fulton, Kansas, she moved here in 1917 and has lived here since. She married John Charles Smith in 1920 and he preceded her in death in 1962. She later married LaVerne Brown who passed away on June 15, 1972.
She was a member of Latter Day Saints and is survived by a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Della A. Lynch of Virginia; James D. Smith of Pawnee, Linford H. Smith and David H. Smith, both of Tulsa.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren plus a brother and sister, Lee Sheats of Pawnee and Mrs. Marie C. Sheats Echo Hawk Webb of North Carolina. One son preceded her in death.
The Rev. Floyd Freeman will officiate at the service this morning at the Poteet Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the South Indian cemetery under the direction of the Poteet Funeral Home.
