Pioneer Is Laid to Rest.
Edwin Bertenshaw, one of the pioneers of the Independence vicinity, was buried there yesterday afternoon. He died Friday. Mr. Bertenshaw was aged 75 years and was the father of John Bertenshaw, an Independence attorney, and Dr. H.G. Bertenshaw, a Nowata dentist.
