Donald Vance Claud, 69, died July 9, 2012 in Fort Pierce. He was born in Richmond, VA and moved to St. Lucie County in 1978, coming from Newport News, VA.
He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Before retirement, he worked for the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department and the Newport News Police Department. He was a member of the local VFW.
