Mrs. Jessie A. Wade, 61, of 1224 Chappel Valley Rd., Gladwin, died Monday, Dec. 25, 1989, in the Mid- Michigan Regional Medical Center, Midland, after a long illness. Born in Gladwin, July 1, 1928, she had spent her lifetime here. The former Jessie Newman, she was married to Arthur Wade Sr., June 2, 1945, in Gladwin.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Arthur Jr. of Gladwin; 4 daughters, Mrs. Jon (Helen) Kilborn of Rhodes, Mrs. Joe (Beth) Kilborn of Beaverton, Mrs. Benny (Mary Ellen) Swinehart and Bonnie House of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Agnes Breault of Gladwin and Rose Sprague of Harrison; 9 grandchildren
and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, William, Dec. 8, 1973 and Michael, Nov. 24, 1948; 3 brothers, Charles (Tug) Newman, Walter (Ty) Newman and John Newman and a sister, Betty Richardson.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. George Coon will officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 12-27/1989 Column – 4 Page – 2.
