Mrs. Lillie Allewalt Sebright, wife of Charles H. Sebright, 447 Carlisle street, died at her home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Death followed an illness extending over the past two years.
Mrs. Sebright was a daughter of the late John Q. and Amanda Allewalt of Baltimore and Hanover. Mr. Allewalt had been a prominent grain merchant of Baltimore, and was a former president of the Peoples Bank of Hanover.
Mrs. Sebright was a graduate of Baltimore High school and attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore. She had been active in Baltimore musical circles and had served as organist of several Baltimore churches before coming to Hanover. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church, Hanover.
Surviving are her husband, Charles H. Sebright, and two sons, Burnell A. Sebright, Hanover, and John C. Sebright, New York city.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with services conducted at her late residence at 2 o'clock. The Rev. John S. Tome, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the family plot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
