Jack Averill Birnbaum, 65, of Brea, proprietor of a golf store, died Friday. Services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove. Burial at Crystal Cathedral Memorial Gardens. Arrangements West Coast Cremations, Fullerton.
Survived by his wife, Susan Moss; daughters, Jana Minot of Laguna Niguel, Terri Winkler of Yorba Linda and Lauri Heidrich of Rimforest; brother, Cecil, of Huntington Beach; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jack sustained severe burns in an industrial accident in 1977 that took several years to recover from. In later years he owned a golf pro shop, and always enjoyed a good round of golf. After his divorce from Anne Baker, Jack married Susan Moss. Susan has a child, Jane, by a previous marriage. Daughters: Jane Minot, Terry Winkler, and Lauri Heidrich.
