Survivors include his wife, Mary Edwards Addison; three daughters, Patsy Melton, Cynthia Addison, and Ellen Hayes, all of Shellman; two sons, Charles Addison of Shellman, and William Addison of Cuthbert; two brothers, T.H. Addison and J.B. Addison, both of Cuthbert; and a sister, Bonnie Hunt of Albany. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery by Curry Funeral Home.
