Patriot-News, The (Harrisburg, PA) - Tuesday, May 28, 1991 LURGAN Melvin M. Diehl, 65, of 12823 Lurgan Road died Sunday at home.

He was a member of Lurgan United Brethren Church, an auditor for Lurgan Twp., a retired employee of Letterkenny Army Depot and an Army veteran of World War II.

He was the widower of Esther A. Stouffer Diehl. Surviving are six sons, Terry L. of Orrstown, Jerry A. of Shippensburg, Gary D. of Newville, Carl L. and Jeffrey, both of Lurgan, and Perry M. of Chambersburg; two daughters, Celia Kennedy of Waynesboro and Cheryl Stine of Lurgan; his parents, Harry and Barbara Myers Diehl of Orrstown; a brother, Abram of Chambersburg; two sisters, Dorine Winward of Shippensburg and Anna Mary Horst of St. Thomas; 10 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at his church. Burial will be in Park Lawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
